"Creation" Watercolor with a bit of acrylic on paper

This is an older one. The figure in the center was added today. Also, another pic was started today and a long term work was begun several days ago. Having several paintings in the works should make things easier as the year progresses.

  1. I always thought you painted in watercolors. Your experiment has been interesting to me, even in showing your preferred medium.

  2. I actually did use watercolors a lot. An acrylic can act like a watercolor when liberal amts of H2O are used. Except it loses transparency after a few layers, unlike watercolor. It can also act like an oil when left thick, but dries much quicker. The last one was mislabeled as an acrylic, I just realized. The rest are correct. I plan to start delving into oils soon. Just reading about it on the web right now.
